MIddle School Open Day

Middle School Open Day will be held on Saturday 14 October, 2023 and is the ideal opportunity for visitors and parents to learn more about TAS Middle  School and see the school in action. Come along and join in the fun!

 
 
 
 

Saturday 14 October - 12.30 - 4.30 pm

You are warmly invited to see for yourself why TAS Middle School can make all the difference for your son or daughter. See our extensive facilities, speak to specialist teachers and senior staff to learn about our academic and co-curricular opportunities and discover first-hand why a TAS Middle School student experience is so special.

The program for the day will include:

 12.30 - 1.10 pm

  • Outdoor BBQ Lunch
  • Welcome from the Head of Middle School, Mr Luke Polson.

1.10 - 2.00 pm

  • Tours of the School (Optional)
  • The first rotation of activities: Science in the Middle School classroom, Creative Arts Graffiti Wall, Language Immersion Activities, Cooking, Calligraphy, Middle School Service Projects, Interactive Trivia Fun and so much more.

2.00 - 2.50 pm

  • The second rotation of activities: STEM activities, F1 for School, Laser Printing, Drama, games and much more
  • Public Speaking Video
  • Outdoor ranger activities, firepit and damper making.

2.30 - 3.15 pm

  • Tours of the School (Optional)

2.00 - 2.30 pm

  • Parent Presentation in Hoskins Centre: Meet our principal Dr Rachel Horton, senior staff and the Head of Middle School and find out what makes TAS Middle School so special.

3.00 - 4.00 pm

  • The final rotation of activities: Mountain Biking demo and activities, Ping Pong and Pool Inflatable.

3.30 - 4.30 pm

  • Afternoon tea in Hoskins Centre during final rotations

4.00 pm - 4.45 pm

  • Tour of the Trade Training Centre.
