Why not Gap at TAS?

TAS welcomes young men and women from overseas who have completed their secondary schooling to work at the school as a Gap assistant. TAS accepts up to six Gap students at a time for a 12 month period beginning in either late January (for Southern Hemisphere applicants) or July (Northern Hemisphere applicants).

GAP students are offered lodging, all meals (during term time), an allowance, and other benefits including free membership to our indoor swim centre, gymnasium and weights room. Gap duties will involve assisting staff in each of our schools, administration, in our Outdoor and Adventure program, excursions, and sport coaching. Duties vary, on a rotational basis, and Gappies work alongside TAS staff in their roles.

You must ensure that you have health insurance for the duration of your stay at TAS. While Gap students coming from the United Kingdom receive reciprocal rights to health insurance in Australia, additional cover is recommended.
