Carnival Information

Are there any updates or changes from TASRC 2026 for returning teams?

TASRC 2027 planning to be complete mid-June 2026, with any changes to the program communicated to all teams in early June 2026.

When will the TASRC 2027 Draw be released?

The draw will be released to all registered teams approximately one week before the Carnival.

Are teams able to decide which pool they are entered into for the Carnival?

Pools/Groups are planned and decided based on many factors, including previous years' results, school/club demographics, number of teams attending, and how many players each team is bringing to the carnival. We understand that teams have strong and weak years, but we do our best to match teams appropriately. If your team is new to TASRC, we look at the size of the school or club, the competitions you have played in the past, and the other teams you have played against.

What time do games begin on Saturday 10 April 2027?

The games will begin from 8.00 am- 8.30 am, depending on the team numbers.

What time will the carnival end on Sunday 11 April 2027?

Again, this will depend on how many teams register for the carnival, but we hope that all games will be finished by 11.30am on Sunday, with all teams encouraged to stay for the presentation at 12.00 pm.

PLEASE NOTE: start and finish times will be determined once final team numbers are confirmed.

Will the Carnival go ahead in wet weather?

Yes! A few adjustments may be made, but games will certainly continue.

Are teams able to have a training session on Friday afternoon after checking in?

Yes, we do not allocate/book grounds for teams, but please work with the other teams that are also hoping to have a warm up/training session.

Will there be a presentation at the end of the carnival?

Once all the games have concluded on Sunday, there will be a presentation at the McConville Centre. This will include Age group winners & runners-up, followed by the coveted 'Team of the Carnival' Award.

Is there Parking available at the carnival

Due to the high volume of attendees expected at the Carnival, parking will not be available on the TAS grounds throughout the weekend. However, parking is available around the School's perimeter and at the Armidale Jockey Club parking area on Barney St (across from the school). Kindly consider private residents' driveways when parking.

Disabled parking is available on the grounds, with permits allocated to those who may need this access. Please contact Rachael Edmonds at [email protected] if required.
