Dear Parents and Carers,

As we approach a particularly meaningful time for our Year 12 students, Valedictory Week marks the end of their secondary schooling and the beginning of preparations for their final examinations. It is a time to celebrate, reflect, and recognise their achievements and contributions to the TAS community.

 

Monday 21 September 

  • Year 12 Activities


Tuesday 22 September

  • Year 12 Activities


Wednesday 23 September

  • Final Advisor Group for Year 12s
  • 'Last Lesson' with Mr Pearson – 9:00 am in Big School
  • Signing of the Register, Year 12 Briefing, OAU Admission Application and Exit Survey
  • Assembly – Presentation of Colours and Commendation Awards, Year 12 Farewell (students only)
  • Valedictory Prize Giving Lunch – 11.30 am - Held at the UNE Bistro (Year 12 students and parents)
  • House Dinners – Details to be communicated by Heads of House (Year 12 students and parents)

Thursday 24 September

  • Morning Tea – Chapel Lawn (for Year 12 students and families) – 9.30 am
  • Lining of the Drive – 10.15 am
    Staff, students, and parents line the main drive as Year 12 process to Memorial Hall in silence.
  • Valedictory Chapel and Candle Ceremony - 10.30 am – All Year 12 parents invited to attend (Year 12 students are dismissed following the service)
  • End of Term 3 – School concludes at 3:30 pm for all other year groups.


Friday 25 September

  • Formal Photos – Chapel Lawn - 4 pm
  • Year 12 Formal –  Armidale Jockey Club
